Creeks To Peaks Rescue

Wilderness Medicine Training

Creeks to Peaks’ mission is to empower outdoor professionals and enthusiasts through Wilderness First Aid and Wilderness First Responder courses! Our courses are taught with YOU in mind. They’re immersive, engaging, and fun! We limit our class sizes, allowing the opportunity for a more hands-on, personal experience so we can best prepare you for being in remote areas.

Creeks to Peaks Rescue and our curriculum partner, Desert Mountain Medicine, are always striving to deliver the highest quality education. Based in and proud to serve Durango, Colorado along with the greater Southwest Colorado area!

Wilderness First Aid

Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is an introduction to first aid and BLS but in a remote setting! This first aid course goes further than traditional first aid in the sense of what to do when you only have the supplies with and around you. WFA is a fantastic first step for outdoor enthusiasts to be fully prepared for anything as you explore the great outdoors!

“I recently completed a two-day WFA and CPR course with Creeks to Peaks. Pete, our instructor, did a masterful job of presenting the material in an engaging, fun style. He connected with each student, and the group members enjoyed making new friends. Pete’s emergency scenarios required us to apply our new knowledge to effectively assess and treat our patients. I’m so glad I took the course; I’m more confident in my ability to handle situations in the backcountry.” -Jay Loschert, Google Review

“Pete did a fantastic job providing us with a high level of training for Wilderness First Aid. He makes the content very engaging and makes it fun for the entire course. If you are wanting to make sure you can learn to take care of yourself or your loved ones, take a WFA course with Pete. He will make sure you have a strong foundation of medical training for the wilderness settings.” -Chase Wesley, Google Review
