Hybrid WFR Refresher Course - Durango, CO - April 25-26, 2024

Course Logistics:

This Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Course is held just 10 minutes from downtown Durango, CO on the beautiful Bar D Chuckwagon property. Class time will be held in the Wilderness Classroom, a large and comfortable commercial wall tent complete with a wood burning stove.

Course Description:

This Wilderness First Responder Refresher Course (WRC) is appropriate for anyone who holds a WFR certification and needs to stay current.

This is a Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification Course with 8 hours of self-paced, online work followed by 16 hours or 2 days in person learning. The online section is emailed to you and available on Canvas approximately one month before the classroom section begins and consists of reading, case studies, videos, animations and quizzes. The online material must be completed by the start date of the classroom section.
